Most houses will sell in 30 to 180 days but check with your Realtor, they have access to the market statistics and will be able to tell you what the average days on the market are for your specific area.

Give yourself three to six months to sell. In most markets this should be adequate but market conditions change so be sure and check with your Realtor to get the most up to date market conditions.
